did anyone invest in gme stock before the split?

Been thinking about my GME position lately. Got in around $180 before the split happened and watched it go crazy for a while.

Wondering how others who bought before the split are feeling now. The whole thing was wild but not sure if holding was the right move.

Still have my shares but the volatility made me question everything.

Got some shares at $195 before the split and rode that crazy wave too. The FOMO was real during those peak days.

What helped me was setting stop losses after learning from early mistakes. Those meme stock runs can drain your account fast if you get caught up in the hype.

These days I stick to smaller position sizes when trading individual stocks. The lessons from that period definitely changed how I approach risk management.

My GME nightmare started at $205 per share.
Watched it climb to $350 and got greedy instead of taking profits.

Ended up selling at $95 after holding through that brutal crash.
Lost nearly half my trading account on that single position.

That stock taught me why I never risk more than 2% on any trade now.

Bought at $165 before split and sold half at $280. Kept the rest just in case.

Entered GME at $220 pre-split and experienced a lot of ups and downs. Regretted not taking profits during the peaks due to the hype. Learned important lessons on position sizing and exit strategies. Now I approach individual stocks with smaller positions and clearer profit targets.

That volatility can be overwhelming without preparation. Having a solid plan before entering a position, especially for momentum stocks like GME, is crucial.
